Sponsorships & Events Funding

Proposal Review Process

Proposals are reviewed on a rolling basis and applicants can expect a response within eight to 12 weeks of submission. During the review period, we may request additional information via email or phone and/or request a site visit to learn more about the organization and the funding request.

PSEG Corporate Giving

The PSEG family of companies provides support for dinners, events and targeted sponsorships serving the places we do business in New Jersey, New Haven and Bridgeport, Connecticut; Albany and Long Island, New York.  Organizations must apply online between Jan. 1 and Oct. 31.  Proposals must be received at least eight weeks prior to the event date.  Review time can take eight to 12 weeks.

Applications will be reviewed using the following criteria:

  • The organization must be an IRS approved 501c3 nonprofit
  • Organization or program resides or benefits in the places where we do business
  • Priority given to events/organizations that align with PSEG business strategies and/or Foundation giving focus areas
  • Consideration of other funding from PSEG, i.e., additional events or Foundation grants
  • Organization/program effectiveness

 

The following events are not eligible for PSEG funding:

  • Events benefiting individuals
  • Events benefiting sectarian purpose organizations that promote religious doctrines or exclude participants based on religion
  • Political causes, candidates, organizations or campaigns
  • Organizations that discriminate on the basis of race, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or religion
  • Organizations with a primary purpose of influencing legislation
  • Athletic, labor or fraternal groups
  • Please note that we do not accept unsolicited applications for sponsorships of sporting events, teams, facilities, museums or other institutions.
