Whether preventive, routine, or catastrophic care, our medical benefit options provide the protection you need at a reasonable cost. The medical plan is offered through Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield. No pre-existing condition exclusions. All employee contributions are made on a before-tax basis, further reducing your out-of-pocket costs. If enrolled in our medical plan, you automatically receive prescription drug coverage.

PSEG offers a variety of health care related reimbursement/spending accounts, based on the plan offering in which you select, to help you pay for out-of-pocket expenses. Regardless if you elect PSEG medical coverage, a dependent day care reimbursement account may also be available to you.

PSEG offers employees a variety of paid time off for non-work related illness or injury, including disability benefits that provides you with income during periods of certified absences while you are unable to work due to an illness or injury that is not work related. Leaves of absence and other time off options include protected time-off as required by federal and state regulations and time off to bond with a new baby or child. Coverage may vary for union and non-union employees.
