- PSE&G received the 2024 ReliabilityOne® Award for Outstanding Metropolitan Service Area Reliability Performance in the Mid-Atlantic Region for the 23rd consecutive year. In addition, for the second consecutive year, PSE&G also received the 2024 ReliabilityOne® Outstanding Customer Engagement Award nationally.
- PSE&G’s Clean Energy Jobs (CEJ) Program was awarded the Leaders of the Pack Award from the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE) in the Workforce Development category. The ACEEE honored top-performing utility-funded energy efficiency programs from across the United States with its Leaders of the Pack awards.
- PSEG recognized as one of America’s Greatest Workplaces for Women 2024 by Newsweek and Plant-A Insights Group. This independent study is based reviews collected in 2022 and 2023.
- PSEG recognized as one of America's Greatest Workplaces for Mental Well-Being by Newsweek and Plant-A Insights Group. The ranking is based on an assessment of public data, feedback from HR executives and large-scale confidential surveys of more than 250,000 employees working for U.S. companies.
- PSE&G named one of the 2024 Most Trusted Brands (residential), 2024 Easiest to Do Business with (residential) and one of the Trusted Business Partners in the 2024 Business Study by Cogent.
- For the third consecutive year, PSE&G received the ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year Award for Sustained Excellence in the Energy Efficiency Program Delivery category from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the U.S. Department of Energy.
- PSEG Nuclear received 2023 Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) Nuclear Technology Transfer Award for the third consecutive year. EPRI annually recognizes nuclear industry professionals who are driving the use of innovation and technology in their organizations.
- PSEG recognized by Newsweek as one of America’s Greatest Workplaces for Diversity 2024. The study, conducted by data research firm Plant-A Insights, interviewed over 223,000 employees in the U.S. and is one of America’s largest independent workplace study.

- PSEG named to the Dow Jones Sustainability North America Index for the 16th year in a row. The DJSI recognizes forward-thinking companies based on an appraisal of the company’s strategy, management and performance in dealing with opportunities and risks based on a comprehensive review of environmental performance, innovation management, corporate governance, risk management, stakeholder engagement and talent attraction and retention.
- PSE&G secured the top spot in the J.D. Power 2023 U.S. Electric Utility Residential Customer Satisfaction Study for electric residential customers in the East among large utilities. This year's achievement marks the second consecutive year PSE&G customers ranked the company in first-place for electric residential, excelling in all six evaluated categories, showcasing the company's commitment to customer satisfaction. PSE&G also ranked 1st in the J.D. Power 2023 U.S. Electric Utility Business Customer Satisfaction Study in the east among large utilities scoring highest in the customer contact factor (read more).
- PSE&G recognized by PA Consulting as the recipient of the 2023 ReliabilityOne® Award for Outstanding Reliability Performance in the Mid-Atlantic Metropolitan Service Area for the 22nd consecutive year. In addition, PSE&G also earned the 2023 ReliabilityOne Outstanding Customer Engagement Award for having the best overall customer approach and ongoing strategy to seek innovative methods of involving and proactively engaging customers as it relates to outage reporting and restoration communications.
- PSEG included on Forbes’ list of the Best Employers for Diversity 2023. Forbes’ prestigious award is presented by Forbes and Statista Inc., the world-leading statistics portal and industry ranking provider.
- PSEG included on U.S. News’ Inaugural 2023-2024 Best Companies to Work For. U.S. News’ Best Companies to Work For provides a look at the 200 best publicly-traded companies across sectors and industries to help employees and job seekers make decisions about workplaces that may be a good fit for them.
- PSE&G is recognized by SEPA and included in the 2030 Club. SEPA's 2030 Club is an initiative that celebrates electric utilities that have voluntarily established aggressive carbon reduction and clean energy targets.
- PSEG recognized as one of the 2023 Best Places to Work for People with Disabilities on the Disability Equality Index (DEI).
- PSE&G’s Renewables and Energy Solutions (RES) group honored with a 2023 Gold Award for Excellence in Program Marketing from Chartwell for its “Welcome to the Saverhood” campaign, which was created to raise awareness for PSE&G’s energy efficiency programs. This award celebrates outstanding achievement in initiatives aimed at improving customer experience, communications and awareness in the electric, gas, and water utility industry.
- For the second consecutive year, PSE&G received the ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year Award in the Energy Efficiency Program Delivery category from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the U.S. Department of Energy.
- PSE&G received inaugural 2022 Connect the Watts™ National EV Charging Hero Award – from EVgo Inc. (EVgo) as part of their National EV Charging recognition program.
- PSEG named one of America’s Most JUST Companies and included in the 2023 JUST 100 list. PSEG was recognized for its commitment to serving its customers, workforce, communities, the environment and shareholders.
- PSEG awarded the 2023 Campus Forward Award by Ripplematch for the third year in a row. The Campus Forward Awards recognize the top early career teams and programs in the nation. The company was nominated for the award by interns that have participated in our early hiring program and rated their experience here.

- PSEG named one of America’s Most Responsible Companies 2022 by Newsweek. Presented by Newsweek and Statista Inc., America’s Most Responsible Companies were selected based on publicly available key performance indicators (KPIs) derived from CSR Reports, Sustainability Reports, and other reports as well as an independent survey.
- PSE&G received the 2022 Drive Electric Award – Utility Award from Plug In America for its Clean Energy Future - Electric Vehicle Program. PSE&G received this national honor for its leadership in support of advancing EV infrastructure in the state. PSE&G has committed to make using an EV in New Jersey more affordable and convenient.
- PSE&G ranked first in the East among large utilities for both gas and electric utility residential customer satisfaction studies according to the J.D. Power 2022 studies.
- PSE&G recognized by PA Consulting as the recipient of the 2022 ReliabilityOne® Award for Outstanding Reliability Performance in the Mid-Atlantic Metropolitan Service Area.
- AGA honored PSE&G with three distinguished awards including: the 2022 Leading Indicator Safety Award, “in recognition of its proactive commitment to enhancing safety;” the 2021 Industry Leader Accident Prevention Award; and, its first AGA Diamond Award of Merit.
- The Edison Electric Institute named Public Service Electric & Gas the recipient of the 2022 Edison Award, the electric utility industry's highest honor, in recognition of its industry-leading efforts to protect New Jersey communities and customers from extreme weather conditions.
- PSE&G received a national energy equity award from the Smart Energy Consumer Collaborative (SECC) for its Clean Energy Jobs Program, an initiative designed to place up to 2,000 people from underrepresented communities into well-paying jobs supporting New Jersey's clean energy goals. The award recognizes the work PSE&G is doing to meet the growing need for skilled workers in New Jersey's energy efficiency industry.
- 3BL Media named PSEG to its annual 100 Best Corporate Citizens ranking, ranking number one in the utility industry and eighth overall. The 100 Best Corporate Citizens ranking recognizes outstanding environmental, social and governance (ESG) transparency and performance among the 1,000 largest U.S. public companies.
- PSE&G received the 2022 ENERGY STAR® Partner of the Year award in the Energy Efficiency Program Delivery category.
- PSE&G Marketplace retail site – part of the utility’s energy efficiency program – was recognized by CS Week for excellent customer service.

- PSEG ranked one of the Wall Street Journal's Top 250 Best-Managed Companies of 2021. The Management Top 250 ranking, developed by the Drucker Institute, measures corporate effectiveness by examining performance in five areas: customer satisfaction, employee engagement and development, innovation, social responsibility and financial strength. The ranking is based on an analysis of 34 data inputs provided by 14 third-party sources.
- PSE&G received the 2021 Star of Energy Efficiency national award for the landmark Clean Energy Future-Energy Efficiency initiative. The Alliance to Save Energy noted PSE&G is leading New Jersey toward a cleaner, more sustainable future.
- PSE&G named a 2021 Customer Champion, by residential and business customers, based on a nationwide study of electric and natural gas customers by Escalent. Escalent’s survey revealed support of environmental, social and governance (ESG) efforts played a critical factor in improving the engaged customer relationship (ECR) rating. In addition, PSE&G also scored highest in brand trust among utilities in the Combination East segment by residential customers.
- PSEG named one of America’s Most Responsible Companies 2022 by Newsweek. PSEG is the leading utility, ranked second-highest in the energy & utilities industry and No. 59 among all U.S. companies.
- PSEG was recognized by Forbes as one of the Best Employers for Veterans.
- PSEG named to the Dow Jones Sustainability North America Index for the 14th year in a row. The DJSI recognizes forward-thinking companies based on an appraisal of the company’s strategy, management and performance in dealing with opportunities and risks deriving from ESG factors.
- Public Service Electric & Gas, New Jersey’s largest utility, was recognized by PA Consulting as the recipient of the 2021 ReliabilityOne® Award for Outstanding Reliability Performance in the Mid-Atlantic Metropolitan Service Area; Honor marks 20th year.
- PSEG named one of the 2021 Best Companies for Multicultural Women by Seramount, a strategic professional services firm formerly known as Working Mother Media. The list recognizes companies that create and use best practices in hiring, retaining and promoting multicultural women in the United States. The Best Companies for Multicultural Women application includes more than 250 questions on representation, hiring, attrition and promotion rates; recruitment, retention and advancement programs; and company culture.
- PSEG was honored by the New Jersey Chapter of the National Association of Corporate Directors. The PSEG board received a 2021 Public Company Board of the Year award for exemplifying true vision and excellence in governance.
- PSEG was named to Forbes 2021 list of America's Best Employers for Diversity for the fourth year in a row. Forbes partnered with market research company Statista to survey 50,000 Americans working for businesses with at least 1,000 employees and pinpoint the companies they identified as being most dedicated to diversity, equity and inclusion.

- PSEG Nuclear was recognized for the company’s commitments to safety, ingenuity and process improvements by the Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI). PSEG Nuclear received the 2020 Framatome Top Innovative Practice Award, which is part of the annual NEI Top Innovative Practice award program, for its novel approach to performing critically important nuclear vessel interior inspections during planned maintenance and refueling outages.
- Public Service Electric and Gas ranked first among the combined gas and electric utilities surveyed in the East Region Utilities Brand Trust Performance by Cogent Syndicated Brand Trust Index.

- PSE&G has been recognized by PA Consulting as the recipient of the 2019 ReliabilityOne™ Award for Outstanding Reliability Performance in the Mid-Atlantic Region for the 18th consecutive year. ReliabilityOne™ Awards are given annually to the utilities that have achieved outstanding reliability performance and have excelled in delivering the most reliable electric service to their customers.
- PSEG named one of America’s Most JUST Companies for 2020, according to Forbes and JUST Capital, recognizing New Jersey’s largest energy provider as a national leader in categories such as ethical leadership, equal opportunity, customer treatment, community support and environmental impact.
- PSE&G’s Alexa Skill Team recognized as a Top Innovator by Public Utilities Fortnightly magazine in customer service category for developing “a comprehensive and easy-to-use real-time customer service interface for those customers with Alexa.” PSE&G is the first utility to offer customers full payment, outage and appliance service appointment capabilities through a voice channel such as Amazon Alexa.
- PSEG received a “We Value Our Veterans” award for the company's efforts to support veterans and promote a military-friendly environment. The State of New Jersey recognized PSEG for the recognition and support the company provides for employees who are veterans, as well as active-duty or reservists in the National Guard. The award also recognizes the efforts of PSEG’s Veterans Employee Business Resource Group for its work volunteering and working with local veteran’s support organizations in the communities we serve.
- PSE&G’s Gas System Modernization Program named the 2019 Project of the Year by the Project Management Institute - New Jersey Chapter. The program was recognized for its complexity and use of excellent project management standards.
- PSEG was named to the Dow Jones Sustainability North America Index for the 12th year in a row. The DJSI recognizes forward-thinking companies based on an appraisal of the company’s strategy, management and performance in dealing with opportunities and risks deriving from environmental, social and governance factors. PSEG was one of seven American utility companies selected for the list.
- The PSEG Foundation received the STEM Corporate Champion of the Year Award from the New Jersey STEM Pathways Network for its demonstration and deep commitment to supporting New Jersey’s STEM economy through education and/workforce initiatives.
- PSEG ranked third among privately/investor-owned power producers in the U.S. with the lowest carbon emissions rates, according to the report "Benchmarking Air Emissions of the 100 Largest Electric Power Producers in the United States," by M.J. Bradley & Associates, Bank of America, CERES, Entergy, Exelon and NRDC
- PSEG Nuclear received a Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI) 2019 Top Innovative Practice (TIP) Award for the enterprising application of cutting-edge technology. The distinction recognizes the pursuit of continuous improvement and operational excellence demonstrated by PSEG Nuclear’s Hope Creek Generating Station.
- PSE&G was named to CIO Magazine’s CIO 100 list for 2019 in recognition of innovative use of technology to improve customer service. The company was honored for its release of an Amazon Alexa customer service app, or “skill,” that allows customers to ask billing questions, make payments, and get tips for reducing their energy usage and lowering their bills.
- PSE&G received an Innovation Award from Smart Energy Decisions for the company’s energy efficiency work at New Jersey hospitals. The Innovation Award recognizes the individual and collective efforts of large electric power users, their suppliers, and their utilities in support of the energy transformation currently taking place. The PSE&G Hospital Efficiency Program won in the utility partnership category for energy efficiency incentive programs.

- PSEG was recognized for its board diversity by 2020 Women on Boards, a national campaign to increase the percentage of women on U.S. company boards to 20 percent or greater by 2020. Twenty percent of the seats on PSEG's Board of Directors are held by women.

- The Commerce and Industry Association of New Jersey (CIANJ) selected PSEG for the top “Extraordinary Good Works” award recognizing our commitment to veterans, forward thinking of the Foundation’s STEM program, volunteer programs, and generosity of the PSEG crisis fund.
- PSEG Fossil’s Linden Generating Station has been selected by POWER magazine to receive one of its 2016 “Top Plant” awards. Linden was named a POWER “Top Plant” winner for its embrace of advanced digital monitoring and analytics – via PSEG Fossil’s new Monitoring and Diagnostics Center – used to stay competitive in the PJM market.
- PSE&G was one of 13 companies honored with an Award for Excellence from the New Jersey Business & Industry Association (NJBIA) for its Solar 4 All program. The utility received the Environmental Quality Award for utilizing rooftops, parking lots, utility poles and landfills/brownfields throughout New Jersey – tying them directly into the power grid for the benefit of all customers.
- PSEG was named to the Dow Jones Sustainability North America Index for the ninth consecutive year. The Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) recognize forward thinking companies based on an appraisal of the company’s strategy, management and its performance in dealing with opportunities and risks deriving from economic, environmental and social developments.
- IDG's CIO named PSEG to its 2016 CIO 100. The 29th annual award program recognizes organizations around the world that exemplify the highest level of operational and strategic excellence in information technology (IT). PSEG was recognized for its innovative use of analytic software technologies that support the company’s industry-leading PSEG Fossil Monitoring & Diagnostic (M&D) Center.
- The Association of Energy Service Professionals (AESP) named Public Service Electric and Gas Company’s (PSE&G’s) Residential Multifamily Housing Program as the winner of the 2016 Energy Award for Outstanding Achievement in Residential Program Design & Implementation.

- The USA Council of the International Association of Emergency Managers (IAEM) awarded the PSEG Foundation and Sesame Workshop an IAEM-USA 2015 Award for public awareness. - PSE&G named Utility of the Year by Electric Light & Power for striking a resounding chord on multiple fronts, including investors, customers, grid experts and family demographics.
- PSEG ranked 19 in the nation on the Top 100 Military-Friendly Employers for 2016 by Victory Media, publisher of G.I. Jobs and Military Spouse. In addition, within the specific energy industry category, PSEG earned a second-place ranking on this year’s list.
- PSE&G recognized as the most reliable utility in the Mid-Atlantic region for the 14th year in a row by PA Consulting, a national industry benchmarking group. The company also received the Outstanding Outage Response Time award for restoring customers 30 percent faster than any other large investor owned utility. In addition, PSE&G received the Outstanding Customer Engagement award for its proactive approach to communications – using Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, customer emails, website and Energize! blog, among other channels -- to keep customers, regulators, government officials and the media informed during both blue-sky days and major events.
- PSEG received a Great Oak Award presented by NJ Monthly magazine in recognition of our community and volunteerism initiatives.
- PSEG was presented The Seven Seals Award by the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve for its commitment to military professionals and veterans. The Seven Seals Award is the broadest and most inclusive award given by the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve. The Seven Seals represent official gratitude from all seven branches of Guard and Reserve service components.

- PSE&G ranks highest in customer satisfaction with business natural gas service and large business electric service in the east, according to J.D. Power. It is the first time in PSE&G’s history to rank highest in business customer satisfaction for both electric and gas service.
- PSEG was named to the America’s Best Employers List by Forbes magazine for 2015. The employers on the list were chosen based on an independent survey of 20,000 American employees working for large U.S. companies and institutions of U.S. divisions of international firms.
