Get Started with The Link
The Link is a platform that gives all employees a place to go to engage with PSEG, see all the great work colleagues are doing, interact with leadership, and share ideas – any time, any place. On your personal or company device, you can stay connected, informed and linked to what’s happening around the company and with each other.
The Link’s shortcuts menu is also a one stop shop for all the PSEG places you need to get to such as your pay, time off, Ask HR, IT resources, Virgin Pulse and more.

- Text PSEG to 45411 to download the Firstup App
- Enter PSEG as the organization code. Select TheLink/PSEG
- On BYOD and company devices, easily register with SSO. Select SSO and then Sign in
- Enter LAN ID and Password.
- Enable Face ID on iPhones for continued easy access.

Enter your PSEG email if you have one, or a personal email and a password of your choosing.
- Confirm your identity from a verification email in your email inbox. For those using a PSEG email address, we recommend using your desktop to view this email.
- If you entered a personal email address, The Link will prompt you to enter your First Name, Last Name and Employee Number (with leading zeros, numerals only), to verify your identity.

- From your PC, visit: https://onfirstup.com/pseg/pseg/
- If on the PSEG network, select SSO and then sign in with your LAN ID and LAN Password to gain access.
If off the network, select Don’t have an account? Join now.
- Enter a personal email and a password of your choosing, then select Join now.
- The Link will then send you an email to confirm you are a PSEG employee. It will ask you to enter your First Name, Last Name and Employee Number (with leading zeros, numerals only), to verify your identity.

Yes, The Link is intended for use while at work. The Link will provide all employees with quick access to company news and information and an opportunity to share ideas while in the office and in the field, any time, any place.

No, using The Link is voluntary. The Link app’s data usage is minimal, as such there will be no stipend or compensation for using the app.

Yes. Once registered for The Link, if you have a story or photographs you feel all employees would benefit from seeing, you can build your own post and submit to the PSEG Pics topic.

No, PSEG will NOT have access to other data on your phone outside of the app. The company will not be able to monitor your location.

On an iPhone, go to Settings>Notifications>Firstup, then toggle on allow notifications. On Android go the Settings>Apps>All apps>Firstup>Notifications.

No, but it is highly recommended so you are alerted when important messages are shared with you.

Single sign on is available on PSEG devices, including BYOD. If you do not have a PSEG device or BYOD you must register using an email address.
