To support our longstanding commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion
PSEG is home to a number of employee business resource groups that serve to support our longstanding commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion as well as allow employees to gain access to informal networks of both information and support. These groups sponsor events that help sustain an inclusive workforce as well as educate employees about critical company initiatives.
ABLE’s vision is to create a workplace environment where employees with disabilities and caregivers are recognized, respected, and valued, elevating PSEG as a best place to work. They do this by creating a forum for employees to connect, learn, and support one another.
Adelante's vision is to cultivate an environment where Hispanics/Latinos are recognized and represented at all levels throughout PSEG. Its mission is to be a resource for all employees at all levels who want to gain a greater understanding of, or contribute to, the Hispanic/Latino experience and perspective.
Asians and Pacific Islanders Reaching for Excellence (ASPIRE)'s vision is to enhance the presence and influence of Asian Americans & Pacific Islanders by attracting, retaining and developing the current and future business leaders to further PSEG's objectives.
FEAT looks to engage others in working to improve the environmental well-being of our communities; provide solutions and a comprehensive understanding of the everyday problems impacting our environment; support and partner with other functional and active environmental organizations; and, most importantly, inspire sustainability.
Level Up creates meaningful experiences through unique programming that prepares, engages, and connects new employees to PSEG’s mission, helping to support the foundation of an inclusive company culture.
The North American Young Generation in Nuclear unites young professionals who believe in nuclear science and technology, and are working together throughout North America to share their passion for a field that is alive and kicking! Its mission is to attract, retain and promote the next generation of nuclear employees.
PSEG PRIDE (formerly GaLA) is dedicated to creating a safe and inclusive work environment at PSEG where LGBTQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Questioning) employees and allies are recognized, respected and valued as contributors to a diverse culture within all levels of the organization.
PSEG’s Pan-African Leadership Forum, Prolific – helps shape an inclusive workplace culture where diverse talent can advance their careers and thrive. Prolific is committed to cultivating leaders of African descent, inspiring excellence, and empowering the communities we serve while fostering a culture of belonging for all.
- American Association of Blacks in Energy (AABE) (Newark Chapter)
AABE is a non-profit national organization comprised of energy professionals. AABE is dedicated to ensuring the input of Black professionals in the discussion and development of energy policies, regulations, R&D technologies, entrepreneur opportunities and environmental issues in the United States.
- Black Professionals Network (BPN) (Nuclear Chapter)
The Black Professionals Network's (BPN) mission is to promote an inclusive, engaging and learning environment for current and aspiring Black company professionals that enhances their knowledge and skills, defines and accelerates their personal development, and establishes relationships that add personal and company value. Its vision is to cultivate and groom diverse, talented and highly sought after leaders in Nuclear.
RISE UP (Resource for Inclusive, Seasoned and Engaged Utility Professionals) seeks to engage seasoned and experienced employees, as well as those who will one day become seasoned professionals in their respective field.
The Women's Leadership Alliance vision is to build a strong and meaningful network of empowered PSEG talent who elevate each other at all stages of their lives and careers. WLA's mission is to cultivate, influence and inspire women to realize their greatest potential by empowering them at all levels.
- POWER – Pursuing Opportunities for Women in Energy Resource
POWER provides a medium where PSEG women in the field have the avenue and ability to build networks, develop mentorships, align with core business objectives, join community outreach initiatives and participate in development workshops in order to facilitate growth professionally and personally while managing the intersection of work and personal life.
- Women’s Network (Newark Chapter)
The Women’s Network's mission is to be a forum to provide professional women at PSEG with career development insight and skills to aid in their success in both job satisfaction and advancement. It also provides an environment that will foster collaborative mentoring and support.
- Women in Nuclear
Women in Nuclear's purpose is to support an environment in nuclear energy and nuclear technologies in which women are able to succeed. This group provides a network through which women in these fields can further their professional development and an organization association through which the public is informed about nuclear energy and nuclear technologies.
