Corporate Giving: Event Sponsorship

PSEG Corporate Giving

Supporting local events and programs

At PSEG, we believe strong communities start with strong connections. That's why we're proud to support nonprofit organizations that are making a real difference in the places we serve.

If you're planning a fundraising event or community program for your registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, you may apply for a grant through our event sponsorship program.

Before applying, we encourage you to connect with your local PSEG Regional Public Affairs Manager and/or Corporate.Citizenship@pseg.com to discuss your proposal and ensure it's a good fit.

What we look for:

  • The organization must be an IRS approved 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
  • The organization or program resides or provides benefits in the places where we do business.
  • Priority is given to events/organizations that align with PSEG business strategies and/or PSEG Foundation giving focus areas.
  • Consideration of other funding from PSEG, i.e., additional events or PSEG Foundation grants.
  • Organization/program effectiveness.

Events we’re unable to support:

While we aim to support as many meaningful community efforts as possible, there are certain types of events that fall outside our funding guidelines.

  • Events benefiting individuals.
  • Events benefiting religious or political organizations that promote religious doctrines or exclude participants based on religion, and events benefiting Political causes, candidates, organizations or campaigns.
    • Organizations that discriminate based on race, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or religion.
    • Organizations whose primary purpose is influencing legislation.
    • Athletic, labor or fraternal groups.

We do not accept unsolicited applications for sponsorships of sporting events, teams, facilities, museums or other institutions.
