Michael K. Hyun
Michael K. Hyun is vice president, procurement and deputy general counsel. As deputy general counsel, he oversees the corporate, securities and commercial functions of the Law Department and is responsible for the legal aspects of mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, securities law and disclosure matters, commercial contracts and procurement activities and corporate financings. As vice president procurement, Mr. Hyun serves as the chief procurement officer for the enterprise and is responsible for the development and execution of PSEG’s procurement strategy, securing PSEG’s nearly $5 billion annual spend. In January 2025, Mr. Hyun joined PSEG’s Senior Executive Team, responsible for some of PSEG’s key strategic initiatives.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Hyun was deputy general counsel and corporate secretary, responsible for supporting the PSEG Board of Directors and administering its meetings and processes as well as overseeing the corporate law function.
Mr. Hyun joined the company in January 2015 as associate general commercial counsel and was later named corporate secretary and associate general counsel.
Prior to joining PSEG, Mr. Hyun was a corporate associate at Cravath, Swaine & Moore.
Mr. Hyun graduated from Columbia Law School with a JD and has a Bachelor of Laws degree from Seoul National University.
