Michael K. Hyun is senior vice president, chief commercial officer and strategic partnerships. In this role, Mr. Hyun leads the commercial and development group for the Enterprise, responsible for corporate and commercial transactions including M&A, joint ventures, partnerships, commercial transactions and procurement activities as well as growth and development opportunities in competitive generation and transmission. In addition, Mr. Hyun leads ER&T, PSEG’s wholesale energy and power marketing and trading function. Mr. Hyun also oversees PSEG’s operations on Long Island under the Operations Services Agreement with the Long Island Power Authority.

Prior to his current role, Mr. Hyun was deputy general counsel and vice president procurement, overseeing the corporate, securities and commercial functions of the Law Department, as well as being responsible for the development and execution of PSEG’s procurement strategy.

In January 2025, Mr. Hyun joined PSEG’s Senior Executive Team, responsible for some of PSEG’s key strategic initiatives.

Mr. Hyun joined the company in January 2015 as associate general commercial counsel and was later named corporate secretary and associate general counsel.

Prior to joining PSEG, Mr. Hyun was a corporate associate at Cravath, Swaine & Moore.

Mr. Hyun graduated from Columbia Law School with a JD and has a Bachelor of Laws degree from Seoul National University.
