Michael K. Hyun is senior vice president, chief commercial officer and strategic partnerships. In this role, Mr. Hyun leads the company’s commercial development strategy, corporate and commercial transactions – including mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic partnerships, and procurement activities – and growth initiatives across competitive generation and transmission businesses.  In this role, Mr. Hyun also oversees the company’s wholesale energy operations and power marketing and trading functions through PSEG Energy Resources & Trade (ER&T).  He is a member of PSEG’s senior executive team.

Prior to his current role, Mr. Hyun was deputy general counsel and vice president procurement where he managed corporate, securities and commercial legal functions, and developed and executed enterprise-wide procurement strategy.  He first joined PSEG in January 2015 as associate general commercial counsel, later serving as corporate secretary and associate general counsel.

Prior to joining PSEG, Mr. Hyun was a corporate associate at the law firm Cravath, Swaine & Moore, specializing in corporate, securities, and transactional matters.

Mr. Hyun graduated from Columbia Law School with a juris doctor (J.D.) and has a bachelor of laws from Seoul National University.
