(August 22, 2025) We understand our customers’ frustrations when it comes to rising costs. Electric supply cost increases are driven by higher PJM capacity prices caused by declining power generation and increasing energy demand. Because electric companies like PSE&G don’t control these costs, we are also unable to reduce them. We stand ready to work with lawmakers on a solution to maintain long-term reliability and affordability for our customers.

PJM generation interconnection queue is backlogged; PSE&G processes interconnection requests in a timely manner.
